Monday is Halloween, and Bailey is getting his costume ready! However, he is having a hard time deciding what to be. Should he be a yummy “hotdoggie” or brilliant “astropup”? Please help him decide! 🙂 Continue reading
Our European Adventure started in Rome. We only had 3 days there so we PACKED IN the sightseeing! For Day 1, we focused on the area near our hotel. We went to the Coliseum, Roman Forum, Constantine Arch, Basilica of St. John Lateran, and the Sancta Sanctorum.
This was a quick and easy project that any DIY beginner or expert can do. I get my artistic side from my grandma. She was a beautiful artist. I have a painting of hers that I have always loved, but it was done on a plain canvas and needed a frame. I found a frame at a local thrift store. Infertility wears on a couple. We decided we needed to reward ourselves for the strength we have shown over the years. We wanted to treat ourselves and take a special trip that would really give us time to focus on each other and check off a few of bucket list items.

One thing that makes me “whistle while I wait” is crafts. I love me some DIY projects! I think it is just magical to take something old and tattered, and breathe new life into it.
I had this shelf in my classroom for many years, but it had seen better days. I almost threw it away…gasp! Then, I realized it would be perfect for our baby room, but it needed a major face lift first. This was my first chalk paint experience, and I think it turned out gorgeous!
